The Dallas Tigers 15U & 16U Vanlandingham teams travelled to Lubbock to play at Texas Tech University this weekend. The Tigers competed against the Varsity Teams from Lubbock Monterey, Lubbock Coronado and Edmond Santa Fe High Schools. Our Freshmen and Sophomore’s competed very well against the older competition and went 3-2 combined at Dan Law Field.
The 15’s defeated Lubbock Monterey 4-1, beat Edmond Santa Fe 11-7 and then lost 6-2 to Monterey in the night cap.
The 16’s defeated Edmond Santa Fe 7-6 before falling to Lubbock Coronado in the finale.
It was a great opportunity for the Tigers to play on a Division 1 field and play against great competition. Thank you to Texas Tech University for the opportunity.
These 2 teams will travel to Austin to play at the University of Texas on November 14.

ARIZONA STATE SUNDEVILS
Centerfield Academy will be holding an all skills and evaluation camp
with special guests from Arizona State University Coaching staff.
Head coach Tim Esmay and former Major Leaguer and Assistant coach Mike Benjamin (13 MLB seasons)
will be conducting the camp.

Saturday, December 11th- 9am to 12pm (ages 9-13)
1pm to 4pm (ages 14-18)
Sunday, November 12th- 9am to 11am (ages 9-13)
12pm to 2pm (ages14-18)
Saturday and Sunday will be held at Collin County Community College Baseball Field
Plano, Spring Creek Campus
(If inclement weather, camp will be moved to JPII HS or indoors to Centerfield Academy.)

All campers will be divided into groups according to age and skill level.

Today (Sunday) 10/24, all Carrollton athletic fields are closed. We will NOT be having the Tiger Fall Instructional Program today. Regular program will resume as scheduled next Sunday, 10/31. Make-up date will be Sunday, 11/7, 1:00 – 4:00pm.
