The 12U Dallas Tigers – Woods won their first tournament of the spring season, beating the Burleson Bad Boyz for the Super Series Qualifier Championship in Burleson, Texas. In a small but competitive field Coach Woods’ Tigers managed to come away with an extra innings victory over their “club mates”, Dallas Tigers – Ingram, to earn the championship game berth. Cole Solomon’s RBI triple against the Tigers in the bottom of the 6^th sent the game into extra innings and Lance Russell provided the game winning walk off double in the 8^th for an exciting 7-6 win. The Tigers – Woods stayed hot jumping out to an early 6-0 lead on the Bad Boyz and never looked back. Another strong start by Cody Masters and a perfect frame 6^th by Lance Russell sealed the championship for the Tigers.

Congratulations to the 10U Dallas Tigers who won the Heroes Invitational Baseball Tournament in Dallas, Texas.  It was a great run on Sunday that included a tough fought win over the San Antonio Devils 3-2 in the semi-finals.  Then in the Sunday night finals they faced off against the Heroes Baseball club to win 12-8.

“The boys executed well this weekend on the mound, in the field, and at the plate.  Every player played a key role in the victories this weekend and I was proud to see our boys play as a team,” commented Coach Tommy Hernandez.

Way to go Tigers!!

Congratulations to the 7U Dallas Tigers Baseball Team who won their first tournament championship in only their second tournament!  They went 4 and 1 on the weekend at Triple Crown Tournament at Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas.

The boys wanted to give a special thanks to Coach Chad Jordan for throwing what looked like soccer balls up there to hit!

Congratulations to the 14U Dallas Tigers and Drew Webb on winning the Air Hog Open in Grand Prairie!

In their very first tournament as a team the 7U Dallas Tigers competed in the championship game at the Triple Crown Season Opener in Dallas, TX.  The team went 3-1 on the weekend.  What a great start to the season!  Congratulations boys!

12U Ingram takes 2nd in the Triple Crown Metroplex Opener

The 12U Dallas Tigers – Ingram came in 2nd place in the Triple Crown Metroplex Opener this weekend at Texas Star in Euless. In Saturday’s pool play, the game was in top form in all phases and the Tigers rolled to two consecutive 10 – 0 shutouts to gain the top seed and first round bye in Sunday’s elimination bracket.  Championship Sunday proved to be quite a bit more challenging with slight wins over Dallas Stars Black and Dallas Tigers – Woods.  The Championship game was played against the Dallas Patriots and was a real nail biter down to the bitter end.  The teams traded runs in the 5th inning to make the final score 4 – 3 for the Patriots. It was a great effort for the first tournament of the Spring Season.  Their runner-up place qualified them for the Triple Crown World Series to be held later in the summer in Utah.
