The Dallas Tigers 9U Polk took home the Championship trophy in the 11th Annual Oklahoma Texas Shootout this past weekend in Ardmore, OK. The tournament featured 32 teams from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The Tigers set the tone for the weekend throwing a No-Hitter in their first game on Friday night. The North TX Lonestar Classic Championship game paired two Dallas Tigers baseball teams in the same age category for the 2nd time in the organization’s 20 year history; the first in the 9u Division. The Dallas Tigers Polk edged Dallas Tigers South Autrey by one run in the final game of the weekend. The game was highlighted by great pitching performances by both teams with Tigers – Polk winning 6-5. Congrats to both teams on a great weekend.
