Thanks again to everyone coming out to Tiger tryouts! It was exciting to see this number of kids attending in each age group. Thank you as well for being flexible on the scheduling with the weekend rain, etc. We were committed to making this tryout happen.
Your age group instructors provided a timeline for getting back with everyone. They are working hard to get things finalized and information out to you. Thanks for your patience.
The 11U Dallas Tigers, Head Coach Kyle Krowka, went 4-0-1 on Father’s Day Weekend to become the Youth Travel Sports Legends Summer Champions. The boys took the field against the Southlake Dragons in the Championship game, for what turned out to be a dog fight. Krowka’s Tigers were victorious with a score of 6-5.
Individual Honors go to Hunter Watson, who was named the Tournament MVP!
12U Ingram takes 2nd in the Triple Crown Metroplex Opener
The 12U Dallas Tigers – Ingram came in 2nd place in the Triple Crown Metroplex Opener this weekend at Texas Star in Euless. In Saturday’s pool play, the game was in top form in all phases and the Tigers rolled to two consecutive 10 – 0 shutouts to gain the top seed and first round bye in Sunday’s elimination bracket. Championship Sunday proved to be quite a bit more challenging with slight wins over Dallas Stars Black and Dallas Tigers – Woods. The Championship game was played against the Dallas Patriots and was a real nail biter down to the bitter end. The teams traded runs in the 5th inning to make the final score 4 – 3 for the Patriots. It was a great effort for the first tournament of the Spring Season. Their runner-up place qualified them for the Triple Crown World Series to be held later in the summer in Utah.
The Dallas Tigers Baseball Club will be hosting it’s last round of tryouts for the 2011 spring season. Established teams will be looking to complete their rosters at this time. No registration or sign up required.

Thats right over 400 turned out for the 2010-2011 Dallas Tigers Baseball Club Tryout!!! First we want to thank all the volunteers and instructors that gave their weekend to making this club tryouts a huge success. We have some of the greatest people in our club and the turnout this past weekend proved that.
Next thank you to all the parents who brought their son for this incredible experience. I hope every player had a great experience and is able to grow from it whether a Tiger this year, next year or in the future.
Finally, we had boys and young men giving it their all and that shows lots of character. Parents you should be proud of your boys for their efforts and willingness to compete. This is at the core of what motivates us everyday to help kids learn the game. Keep up the hard work no matter what.
Team instructors will be reaching out to their prospects for roster confirmations over the coming weeks.
