Dallas Mustangs Fall to 12U Tigers Polk in NO HITTER

Dallas Mustangs and Dallas Tigers finally meet in a championship game. After taking off Spring Break for some family time, the 12U Dallas Tigers were back on the field for a 1 day tune up tournament. In the 4th game of the day, the Dallas Mustangs White met up with the Dallas Tigers Polk for a good match-up.

Trenton Shaw, starting on the mound for the Tigers, came out in full command of the game throwing a complete game no hitter. Shaw surrendered just 3 walks in 5 innings and struck out 11 as his team won 3-0.

“I thought we were very rusty today after the long layoff over Spring Break,” pointed out coach Chad Polk. “Just the finer points of baseball make all the difference, but time off for the boys is certainly more important. We’ll be back in mid-season form soon.”
