Congratulations to the 10U Dallas Tigers – Hernandez for winning their fall season opener tournament at the Matt Dozier Baseball Tournament in Grand Prairie, TX.
The team earned the top seed going into Sunday’s bracket play and faced the Coppell Cowboys. The Tigers had a solid performance behind great pitching from Garrett Reuben and won 9-3. In game 2 the Tigers squared off against the Heroes. Quinn Bowring took the mound and was very effective allowing only 1 run over 4 innings pitched. Tallon Heine came in for his second save opportunity of the weekend and pitched the final 2/3 inning to lock down the championship. Base running and key big hits put the Tigers on top 3-1 in the finals.
