The team ran through some very tough competition with Texas Heat, DBat Addison, and Irving Canes. The players showed great toughness in winning 2 one-run games in games one and two. The 8U Dallas Tigers coached by Tommy Olivas take home championship hardware in the USSSA Costume Classic baseball tournament at Bakersfield Park in Flower Mound. This is a first year team working hard to improve each tournament. They achieved their goal of playing 5 games in a weekend.
