The 16U Tigers Vanlandingham won the AABC World Series Qualifier on Saturday. The Tigers went 4-1 and beat Frozen Ropes in the Championship game 7-1. The Tigers opened the tournament with a 5-3 win over DBat Guthrie with the help of a 3 run Home Run by Garrett Hale. Dallas Tigers Vanlandingham took third place at the Perfect Game Invitational at East Cobb Georgia last week. The team went 5-0, but settled for third as the championship round was rained out and places were awarded by seeding. WOODSTOCK, Ga. – The Dallas Tigers 16u Vanlandingham’s bats were scorching hot on Friday afternoon, victimizing the Tennessee Fury pitching to the tune of a 16-0 whipping at Etowah High School. The game ended after only three innings due to the run-rule in place at the 2012 16u Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational.
