The 17U Dallas Tigers were invited by former Tiger, Evan Gattis of the Atlanta Braves, for on field batting practice this week. Five Dallas Tigers competed last week in the USA Baseball Tournament of Stars presented by Major League Baseball. Pictured are Michael Kopech, Tanner Gardner, Drew Gooch, Turner Larkins, Bryce Carter, and Tigers President/USA Baseball Coach Tommy Hernandez. 14U Woods Win Travel Sports Super State
Dallas Tigers 14U Woods roll through the Travel Sports Super State going 6-0 on the weekend. The weekend was capped off by beating their cross town rivals Academy Select Sun Devils – Ingram. The Tigers got on top early scoring three runs in the first inning. They never looked back and took the Championship 5-1 over the Sun Devils. J.J. The Dallas Tigers 10U Polk played up a level this weekend in an 11U tournament at Texas Star in Euless. The Tigers went 5-0 on the weekend on their way to another Championship win. The boys met a very strong DBAT Mustangs-Buck team in the Championship. The game was an up and down battle early in the game with the lead changing hands 3 times. Dallas Tigers – Hernandez 12u won another Championship on Sunday in the USSSA TNT’s May Blast, Lewisville, Tx. The 5th championship of the Spring was won going 5-0 against 13aaa competition. 10U Polk Win the Mid-South Super NIT
The Mid-South Super NIT was touted as one of the toughest tournaments in the country. The tournament would feature eight of the best 10U teams in the country including Dallas Tigers 10U Polk, Yalobusha Giants, Team Halo, Dulins Dodgers and Alabama Elite. The Dallas Tigers 10U-Polk returned to Ardmore, Oklahoma this past weekend to defend their title from last year. And that they did.
