12U Tigers – Bankston Win Waco Baseball Tournament

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers-Bankston team for winning in Waco this weekend beating the YardDogs 4-3 in a hard fought championship game. Our boys attitudes, hustle and solid play both offensively and defensively proved to be the difference in winning and losing. Congratulations once again and great job coach Bankston and coach Coyne. Way to go!

12U Tigers – Ingram Win 13U Super Series in Waco, TX

Linty Ingram’s 12U Tigers played up in the Super Series tournament in Waco.  In Saturday’s pool play, the team tied the XB Outlaws and beat the Belton Tigers.  Sunday’s bracket games started bright and early with a really solid performance (9-1) by the team with very strong hitting and pitching.  The semis proved a little more difficult against the Waco Storm Sox with a 5-2 win.  And the Championship Game was a repeat victory against the Belton Tigers. 12U Tigers-Woods Are Waco Super Series Tournament Champs

Coach Woods 12U Tigers traveled to Waco recently giving a strong performance as they completed the weekend with a 4-0 mark, coming from behind to defeat the Lubbock Hooks for the championship 6-5. JJ Montenegro had a standout weekend at the plate and on the mound. JJ was 9 for 11 with 2 homeruns and 11 RBI’s. 10U Tigers Win Super Series Qualifier – Waco, TX

The 10U Dallas Tigers got to go to the Baylor vs. Texas baseball game Friday night in Waco, Texas before heading into tournament play.  The 10U team went 4-0 on the weekend in Waco and brought home the Super Series Baseball championship trophy.  The boys picked up their defense and team offense was very solid.  All pitchers on the weekend went out and threw strikes.  Congratulations to all the boys for their hard work in every phase of the game!

Tigers take Several Championships in 2010 Openers

This past weekend the 11U Dallas Tigers opened their 2010 season with a championship in the USSSA 12UAAA Metroplex Opener at Texas Star Park in Euless. After losing the pool opener 7-5, they fought back to win 5 straight, winning the championship game in extra innings (7th) 6-5 against the 12U AAA Dallas Redbirds. Next, the 12U Tigers took home 1st place hardware in their Waco tournament. And finally, our 14U Tigers won the tournament championship down in Austin. Great way …
