In Arizona, the Dallas Tigers Arias 17u Tigers had a fantastic weekend. With a shorthanded pitching staff due to high school injuries, Arias’ Tigers hit their way to the quarterfinals. Our Tigers proved to everyone their that heart, determination and teamwork can take a team a long way, beating teams with big rosters, with several top pitchers. The Dallas Yankees and their “Hired Guns” found out that money doesn’t necessarily buy happiness. Our Tigers beat the Yankees in extra innings 4-2 with 15u Matt Wilson closing the game.
