This past weekend Coach Woods Tigers brought home their 3rd straight championship finishing 10-1 in the week long Travel Sports World Series hosted at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine. The 13u Tigers-Woods returned to the historic Richards Park in Waxahachie to win the RBI Jungle Classic championship after four consecutive 2nd place tournament finishes. Richards Park, originally built in 1916, was the spring training home to Ty Cobb and the Detroit Tigers, the 1919 World Champion Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Blues, and the Buffalo Bisons. 9U Polk Win the 10U USSSA World Series Warm Up

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers 9U Polk who won the USSSA 10U World Series Warm-Up at Big League Dreams in Mansfield, TX. The Tigers beat the Heroes 9-4 in the semi-finals and the East Texas Chargers 9-8 in extras in the Championship game. The Tigers played hard all weekend and made some big time plays to take the Championship. Great job boys!!!

Dallas Tigers 9U Polk USSSA State Champs

After taking a month off from tournament play, the Dallas Tigers 9U Polk picked up where they left off by taking the USSSA State Championship in Grand Prairie Father’s Day Weekend.  The Tigers went 5 – 0 on the weekend.  They battled it out in the championship game against the Texas Regulators winning 4-3 with game ending on an exciting double play.  The championship game was highlighted by Zach Rike going the distance for the Tigers throwing all 6 innings. …

Dallas Tigers 9u-Polk Win 2012 Super Series Regional

The Dallas Tigers 9U Polk won the Texas Super Regional in Burleson on Mother’s Day.  The Tigers battled all tournament to overcome some great pitching going 5 – 0 on the weekend.  They faced the Dallas Tigers South in the Championship for the 2nd time this year.  Tigers-Polk took the Championship 12-0 with Tate Robbins throwing a No-Hitter; his 2nd of the season.  What a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day!  Congratulations on a great weekend!

Dallas Tigers 9u – Polk win The OK-TX Shootout

The Dallas Tigers 9U Polk took home the Championship trophy in the 11th Annual Oklahoma Texas Shootout this past weekend in Ardmore, OK.  The tournament featured 32 teams from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.  The Tigers set the tone for the weekend throwing a No-Hitter in their first game on Friday night.  The Tigers pitching was dominate all weekend only giving up 16 runs while the offense racked up 75 runs on their way to a 7-0 record.  Congratulations to the …
