The 9U Dallas Tigers team earned a spot again in a baseball tournament championship game against DBat Mansfield. Tigers scored one run early in the top of the 1st inning, but DBat was able to jump out to a 7-1 lead after one inning of play. Our Tiger Family member, 11U coached by Ernie Cecil, made it to the finals in the Heroes Tournament battling back from a 2 run deficit in the last inning to 6-3 . Ronnie Taylor pitched the entire game before coming out tired in the last inning with two runners on and no outs. This past weekend the 11U Dallas Tigers opened their 2010 season with a championship in the USSSA 12UAAA Metroplex Opener at Texas Star Park in Euless. After losing the pool opener 7-5, they fought back to win 5 straight, winning the championship game in extra innings (7th) 6-5 against the 12U AAA Dallas Redbirds. The Dallas Tigers 9U team did it again. In their 3rd tournament of the 2009 fall season they made it to the championship game. In their 4th game of the day they left the Santa Cop Baseball Tournament with 2nd place. In only their second tournament the 9U Dallas Tigers take it to the championship game on Sunday night in the North Fall State Tournament in Coppell, Texas. Only loosing by 3 runs in the last game they took home 2nd place in their 3rd game of the day. Congratulations Tigers!

The 2009 18U team won the AABC Connie Mack National Qualifier Tournament in Phoenix to advance to be on of only 10 teams who will play in the National AABC Connie Mack Tournament in Farmington, NM August 7-14.
