9U Jared Thomas and Walker Polk Selected as TBS All-Americans

Travel Ball Select (TBS) chose 2 players from the 9U Dallas Tigers for the All-America Team, Jared Thomas and Walker Polk!  Jared was selected based on his offensive performance and as a first baseman.  Walker was selected based on his offensive performance and as a catcher.  Jared and Walker were 2 of only 20 players nationally to make the list.

“The 2013 9U Tigers had a number of players who could have made this list, but for these 2 to make it is a great acknowledgement of their performance.  What the list doesn’t show is how good of team players these kids are.  They both love competing with this team and they’ll be fun to watch grow up over the years,” commented coach Chad Polk.

Congratulations Jared and Walker!
