Dallas Tigers 9U – Jamison won the Championship at the Rangers Youth Ballpark tournament this weekend. The team was 5-0, had the first seed going into bracket play, and scored a total of 53 runs while allowing only 14. Good weekend for the 9U Majors boys.
On Sunday, the Dallas Tigers Polk 13U took home the hardware at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine. The Tigers went undefeated on the weekend putting up 55 runs while only surrendering 1. It was a complete team effort throughout the tournament. Great job boys!
The 10U Tigers Majors, coached by Brett Bergman, won the Triple Crown Season Opener going 6-0 on the weekend and outscore opponents 49-3. There were a total of 41 teams entered in the 10-year division won by the 10U Tigers. The 12U Dallas Tigers Polk battled it out with DFW area baseball clubs to win out in bracket play. The Triple Crown DFW Season Opener had over 50 teams entered and the 12U Tigers ended the weekend #1. On Sunday the Dallas Tigers Holder 12u was the last team standing at Euless’s Texas Star baseball complex in the 12u Major Division. Coach Jody Holder was very pleased with the team’s all around performance at this early stage of the Spring season. These 12u Tigers went undefeated in pool and elimination play and racked up 35 runs while allowing only 6 runs over the weekend tournament. The Dallas Tigers 11U Ladehoff team started the Spring season as tournament champions of the 11U Open DFW Express Season Opener on February 20-21. The Tigers were led by outstanding pitching, errorless defense in 5 games, and timely hitting. The highlight of the tournament was a 3-2 semifinal victory over the top rated 11U Majors team. The Tigers went on to win the Championship 12-3 to finish as champs in their first tournament of the season.
