Dallas Tigers Play at University of Texas

Several of the Dallas Tigers baseball teams played at University of Texas Disch-Falk Field in Austin recently.  The event was exclusive Dallas Tigers showcase event for scouts at the college and pro level to evaluate players.

The Dallas Tigers Baseball Club will be hosting it’s last round of tryouts for the 2011 spring season.  Established teams will be looking to complete their rosters at this time.   No registration or sign up required. 8U-Olivas Win Championship at Costume Classic

The 8U Dallas Tigers coached by Tommy Olivas take home championship hardware in the USSSA Costume Classic baseball tournament at Bakersfield Park in Flower Mound.  This is a first year team working hard to improve each tournament.  They achieved their goal of playing 5 games in a weekend. They went 5-0 on the weekend and defeated the FM Titans 6-5 in the championship game.  Great defense helped the Tigers win a one run game. Way to go boys!

Happy Birthday Tommy!!

Happy Birthday to our club President, Tommy Hernandez!  For the record, Tommy is still 28.  After the 10U championship game Sunday, the boys celebrated with Happy Birthday singing, cup cakes, and best of all a pie in the face!!  He never saw it coming.  Here is a play-by-play.

Dallas Tigers at Texas Tech

The Dallas Tigers 15U & 16U Vanlandingham teams travelled to Lubbock to play at Texas Tech University this weekend. The Tigers competed against the Varsity Teams from Lubbock Monterey, Lubbock Coronado and Edmond Santa Fe High Schools. Our Freshmen and Sophomore’s competed very well against the older competition and went 3-2 combined at Dan Law Field.
