11U Tigers take Runner-Up out of 50 Teams at Triple Crown in Steamboat

The 11U Dallas Tigers had an incredible week as a team at the Triple Crown Sports World Series in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  There were 50 select baseball teams from all over the country in the 11U age group.  Overall, the team went 7-0 to reach the championship.  Most notable though were the 3 come from behind victories!  In game 1 pool play against Pico Elite out of San Diego, California, the Tigers overcame a 2-1 deficit to win 9-2.  Then …

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers Hernandez for winning the 2012 AABC Mickey Mantle World Series. Tigers Hernandez have now won their third straight National Championship in as many years, winning Super Series World Series in 2010, AABC Ken Griffey Jr. National Championship in 2011 and now the AABC Mickey Mantle.  My hats off to every kid on this team. 13U Woods Take Travel Sports WS Championship in Grapevine

This past weekend Coach Woods Tigers brought home their 3rd straight championship finishing 10-1 in the week long Travel Sports World Series hosted at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine. After pairing down the 26 team field to 10 for the 13U Major title, the Tigers began their run on Friday with an early bump in the road, dropping their second bracket game to the Waco Thunder thus forcing them to battle through the losers bracket in the double elimination event. …
