Dallas Tigers Vanlandingham wins AABC Regional Qualifier

Dallas Tigers Vanlandingham won the AABC Regional Qualifier this past weekend to earn a spot in the July Tournament.  Strong starting pitching from Garrett Hale led the Tigers to a 13-0 win in game one versus the Arlington Heat Walker.  Turner Larkings took the mound in game 2 and struck out 12 in 6 innings to lead the Tigers to a 8-0 win over Frozen Ropes Thornton.  The winners bracket game slated the Tigers against DBat Mustangs Guthrie.  Michael Kopech …

16U Vanlandingham take 3rd at Perfect Game – East Cobb

Dallas Tigers Vanlandingham took third place at the Perfect Game Invitational at East Cobb Georgia last week.  The team went 5-0, but settled for third as the championship round was rained out and places were awarded by seeding.  The Tigers were 3-0 moving into elimination play with strong pitching performances from Michael Kopech, Garrett Hale and Cameron Yates.  Drew Gooch pitched a complete game shutout in a 3-0 win over Team Mizuno in the first round of elimination.  Joseph Heineman …

Dallas Tigers Roll into East Cobb Baseball Tournament

WOODSTOCK, Ga. – The Dallas Tigers 16u Vanlandingham’s bats were scorching hot on Friday afternoon, victimizing the Tennessee Fury pitching to the tune of a 16-0 whipping at Etowah High School. The game ended after only three innings due to the run-rule in place at the 2012 16u Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational. 12U Cameron Bankston Win Texas-Oklahoma Shoot-out

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers Cameron Bankston 12u team for battling to a hard fought 3-2 victory against 918 Tulsa in the Texas-Oklahoma shootout final in Grapevine Texas. I am very proud of all the kids and parents for staying tough and fighting though alot of adversity this season. My hat is off to head coach Cameron Bankston for showing these kids how to win and play as a team. Way to go!

Dallas Tigers 9u-Polk Win 2012 Super Series Regional

The Dallas Tigers 9U Polk won the Texas Super Regional in Burleson on Mother’s Day.  The Tigers battled all tournament to overcome some great pitching going 5 – 0 on the weekend.  They faced the Dallas Tigers South in the Championship for the 2nd time this year.  Tigers-Polk took the Championship 12-0 with Tate Robbins throwing a No-Hitter; his 2nd of the season.  What a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day!  Congratulations on a great weekend!

12U Tigers – Bankston Win Waco Baseball Tournament

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers-Bankston team for winning in Waco this weekend beating the YardDogs 4-3 in a hard fought championship game. Our boys attitudes, hustle and solid play both offensively and defensively proved to be the difference in winning and losing. Congratulations once again and great job coach Bankston and coach Coyne. Way to go!
