The Dallas Tigers 11U Polk played at Baseball USA in Houston this past weekend and brought home the Championship. The Tigers scored 61 runs and only gave up 15 in 6 games on the their way to the Championship. Dallas Tigers 10u-Polk went down to Houston and brought back a Championship. This marks only the second time in the 20 year history a Dallas Tigers team has won a tournament Championship in Houston. The first was the 12u Dallas Tigers – Ingram team in 2011. The Tigers had great pitching all weekend only giving up 8 runs while the offense scored 35 runs. DALLAS, TX — Dallas Tigers Baseball Club President, Tommy Hernandez, has been named USA Baseball NTIS North Texas Regional Director. The region includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Waco and points north. Players from across the region will participate in selection events and tryouts with the aim of being named to the Northern Texas’s 13U, 15U and 17U teams. Another Dallas Tiger player had a busy summer, Jordan Swagerty. Swags was named to the 2007 USA Baseball Junior National Team. He also played in the 2008 graduate AFLAC All-American game in San Diego, California.
