9U-Polk Play Another Championship Sunday
Dallas Tigers 9U coached by Chad Polk and Brett Bergman fell by 1 run in the championship game on Sunday, but that is only part of the story. They won game one of bracket play against the Keller Knights handily. In game two they won with a walk-off base hit to left field by Jacob Holder that scored Landry Fee from third (5-4 final score). 14U Woods Pick-up Battle in Big D Championship
The Dallas Tigers Woods picked up where they left off last season wining the Battle of Big D baseball tournament this past weekend at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine. Down 5-0 in the semi-final game, Woods’ Tigers fought back to score 6 in the 5th and shut down the Sundevils to advance to the finals. In the final, Tigers Woods dominated with a convincing 6-1 victory over the Sundevils. Tiger pitching was fantastic all weekend and their high powered offense outscored their opponents 50-16.
