11U Polk Win the Travel Sports World Series

The Dallas Tigers 11U Polk rolled to another Championship this past weekend.  The Tigers took home the hardware at the Travel Sports World Series at Oak Grove Park in Grapevine.  The team played lights out all weekend going 7-0 beating the Dallas Mustangs and NTX Eagles on their way to the Championship. “ The boys have continued to get better week in and week out over the season.  I love seeing them compete as a team,” Coach Coy Polk commented. …

Congratulations Clayton Kershaw on NO-HITTER!!

The Dallas Tigers want to congratulate a former Tiger, Clayton Kershaw, on his no-hit performance!  If you had never seen Sandy Koufax pitch, then Clayton Kershaw is the next best thing.  This was the 12th no-hitter thrown in Dodger history and was only 1 play away from being a perfect game.  Only 1 Colorado Rockies batter reached based on error. 10U Polk Roll to Championship in Travel Sports World Series

The 10U Dallas Tigers continued playing great baseball in June.  In the 5 day Travel Sports World Series with 37 10U teams from around the country and one international team the Tigers emerged #1.  The team only allowed 9 runs in 8 games.  Even with the outstanding pitching performances all week, the team also scored 48 runs in pool play and 40 runs in bracket play for a total of 88 runs scored in 8 games.  The team went 8-0 …
