Congratulations Clayton Kershaw on NO-HITTER!!

The Dallas Tigers want to congratulate a former Tiger, Clayton Kershaw, on his no-hit performance!  If you had never seen Sandy Koufax pitch, then Clayton Kershaw is the next best thing.  This was the 12th no-hitter thrown in Dodger history and was only 1 play away from being a perfect game.  Only 1 Colorado Rockies batter reached based on error. The 10U Dallas Tigers coached by Chad Polk and Brett Bergman, continued their winning ways this past week at the USSSA Global World Series in Gulf Shores, Alabama.  With 2 one run wins in bracket play against Team Mizuno and East Cobb Mets, the 10U Dallas Tigers emerged as champs. 10U Polk Roll to Championship in Travel Sports World Series

The 10U Dallas Tigers continued playing great baseball in June.  In the 5 day Travel Sports World Series with 37 10U teams from around the country and one international team the Tigers emerged #1.  The team only allowed 9 runs in 8 games.  Even with the outstanding pitching performances all week, the team also scored 48 runs in pool play and 40 runs in bracket play for a total of 88 runs scored in 8 games.  The team went 8-0 …

Dallas Tigers 11U Polk won the USSSA State Championship in The Colony this past week.  The Tigers battle it out with Tigers South to take a 7-4 victory.  This is the 6th time the Dallas Tigers Polk and Dallas Tigers South have met in a Championship game. 10U-Polk Win USSSA Baseball State Championship

Good weekend for the 10U Dallas Tigers!  They went 5-0 on the weekend with lots of offense and determination in the USSSA Baseball State Championship. “Our kids showed some grit this weekend, especially in the championship game.  They battled all game and came out on top.  Proud for their efforts.” commented coach Chad Polk. 10U-Polk Emerge as Champs in Strikes Against Cancer Baseball Tourney

The 10U Dallas Tigers finished the weekend strong with a tournament championship in Strikes Against Cancer baseball tournament.  The Tigers went 4-1 on the weekend and outscored their opponents 57-16 overall.  Solid pitching and quality at-bats as a team were the highlighted differences in the games.
