10U – Polk Win The 2013 Premier Cage Match in Houston

Dallas Tigers 10u-Polk went down to Houston and brought back a Championship.  This marks only the second time in the 20 year history a Dallas Tigers team has won a tournament Championship in Houston.  The first was the 12u Dallas Tigers – Ingram team in 2011. The Tigers had great pitching all weekend only giving up 8 runs while the offense scored 35 runs.  The tournament was packed with some of the best 10u baseball teams in the Houston area. …

9U Tigers Win 10U USSSA Tournament

The 9U Dallas Tigers concluded their fall schedule with a very solid performance in The Colony over the weekend. Game one on Sunday bracket play was a tight duel with the Texas Sports out of Rockwall.  Down by 1 run, Caleb Bergman stole 3rd and Blake Jordan squeezed in the tying run (3-3).  The next inning, Jonah McCormack hit a triple and Walker Polk squeezed him in for the win. Congratulations to our 9U Dallas Tigers Polk for a great season!  In their first year with coach Coy Polk they pulled together a talented group of boys.  For the year this team was 62-5 (.911 winning percentage) and finished ranked #1 in the country by USSSA Baseball Rankings. 9U Polk Win the 10U USSSA World Series Warm Up

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers 9U Polk who won the USSSA 10U World Series Warm-Up at Big League Dreams in Mansfield, TX. The Tigers beat the Heroes 9-4 in the semi-finals and the East Texas Chargers 9-8 in extras in the Championship game. The Tigers played hard all weekend and made some big time plays to take the Championship. Great job boys!!!

After taking a month off from tournament play, the Dallas Tigers 9U Polk picked up where they left off by taking the USSSA State Championship in Grand Prairie Father’s Day Weekend.  The Tigers went 5 – 0 on the weekend.  They battled it out in the championship game against the Texas Regulators winning 4-3 with game ending on an exciting double play.  The championship game was highlighted by Zach Rike going the distance for the Tigers throwing all 6 innings. …

Dallas Tigers 9U-Polk Win May Day

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers 9U Polk on winning the May Day Tournament at Big League Dreams.  The weekend was highlighted by Tate Robbins throwing a No-Hitter in the Semi-Final game on Sunday.  The Tigers pitching was strong all weekend only giving up 9 runs in four games while the offense scored 56 runs.  Great job Tigers!!!

Dallas Tigers 9u – Polk win The OK-TX Shootout

The Dallas Tigers 9U Polk took home the Championship trophy in the 11th Annual Oklahoma Texas Shootout this past weekend in Ardmore, OK.  The tournament featured 32 teams from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.  The Tigers set the tone for the weekend throwing a No-Hitter in their first game on Friday night.  The Tigers pitching was dominate all weekend only giving up 16 runs while the offense racked up 75 runs on their way to a 7-0 record.  Congratulations to the …
