11U Krowka: 2011 Youth Travel Sports World Series Champions

Kyle Krowka’s 11U Dallas Tigers went 7-1 last week to capture the Youth Travel Sports World Series Championship in the 11U Major division. Griffin Weissman had the game winning hit that scored Max Dodd for the victory.  The umpires chose Kaden Krowka as the tournament MVP for his dominating performance on the mound.  Kaden went the distance, in the championship round, pitching a complete 6 inning game. 15U Fleming Runner-Up in USSSA Summer Sizzler

Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers 15U Fleming Team for taking 2nd place in the USSSA June Summer Sizzler.  The June Summer Sizzler was just that…two days of sizzling temperatures…but that’s not all that was hot.  After a very strong showing in pool play, 10-0 & 8-1, the boys captured the number one seed.  After two well played bracket games, 7-3 & 14-2, the boys fell short in the Championship Round 10-8 on Sunday evening to take 2nd place for the …

The 12U Woods team took their fifth tournament title of the season capping off a 3-0 Sunday for the USSSA State title and a Father’s Day Championship to match their Mother’s Day title back in May. 11U Win USSSA Mothers Day NIT

The 11U Dallas Tigers – Vanlandingham/Coyne won the USSSA Mother’s Day NIT with a 7 – 2 victory over the Keller Knights.  After dropping the opening game in pool play to a tough Southlake Dragons team, the Tigers battled back to win 4 consecutive games and claim their first championship of the spring season.  On Sunday the Tigers put on a great offensive show led by Will Quillen and Brady McBride, and had complete game pitching performances by Ryan Snyder …

8U Tigers take Runner-up in Rowlett USSSA Tournament

The 8U Dallas Tigers baseball team, coached by Coy Polk, had a great weekend with 5 games that took them into the championship.  They ended the day with a one run loss in the finals that was hard fought.  Overall it is great to have a 5 game weekend and continue to improve as young baseball players.  Nice work boys!

15U Fleming take Runner-up at May Fest

15U Tigers Fleming take Runner Up in the USSSA Mayfest Classic Congratulations to the Dallas Tigers 15U Fleming Team for bringing home their first hardware of the summer.  The boys took 3 out of 4 games on Sunday with the third game of the day going into extra innings.  After two California Tie Breaker Innings the boys came out on top 10-7 to advance to the Championship Game.

10U Tigers Win Heroes Invitational – Dallas, TX

Congratulations to the 10U Dallas Tigers who won the Heroes Invitational Baseball Tournament in Dallas, Texas.  It was a great run on Sunday that included a tough fought win over the San Antonio Devils 3-2 in the semi-finals.  Then in the Sunday night finals they faced off against the Heroes Baseball club to win 12-8. “The boys executed well this weekend on the mound, in the field, and at the plate.  Every player played a key role in the victories …
