Dallas Tigers 10U Win Matt Dozier Championship

Congratulations to the 10U Dallas Tigers – Hernandez for winning their fall season opener tournament at the Matt Dozier Baseball Tournament in Grand Prairie, TX. The team earned the top seed going into Sunday’s bracket play and faced the Coppell Cowboys.  The Tigers had a solid performance behind great pitching from Garrett Reuben and won 9-3.  In game 2 the Tigers squared off against the Heroes.  Quinn Bowring took the mound and was very effective allowing only 1 run over …

The 14U Dallas Tigers – Vanlandingham team won the USSSA State Championship this weekend at Big League Dreams in Mansfield. The Tigers out scored their opponents 35-10 in 5 games.  Sunday was highlighted by 3 complete game performances.  Drew Gooch pitched a complete game in a hard fought 4-3 win over the Arlington Heat.  Seth Mullis hit a 2 run home run to open the scoring.  In the bottom of the 6th, CJ Tyler hit a game winning double to send …

Tigers 8U-Baker take 2nd in USSSA Tri-Cities Tournament Hurst, TX

Congratulation to the 8U Tigers Coach Pitch team who went 4-0 this weekend to make it to the championship game at the USSSA Tri-Cities tournament in Hurst.  The team scored a total of 81 runs during the 5 games they played wearing the bases out.  Defensively the team shined brightly and held two teams to shutouts Sunday on their way to the final game.   Hot bats, heads up base running, outstanding defense and aggressive attitudes produced a great weekend of …

Incredible Memorial Weekend for the Tigers

This Memorial Day weekend 2010 was an amazing weekend for the Dallas Tigers Baseball Club. All Tigers Championship at Triple Crown Tournament (Coppell) For the second time this season, Dallas Tigers Hernandez faced Tigers Vanlandingham in a championship final game. Out of 19 teams in the 14U age group the two Tiger teams battled all weekend to meet for the championship. The 11U Tigers-Ingram showed poise by finishing strong against some tough competition in the USSSA 12U AAA Beat The Heat tournament hosted at the Celina Baseball Complex in Celina Texas. In pool play the Tigers split, winning their opener 7-1 against the 12U Dallas Patriots-Blue on the strong arm of Cole Solomon who threw 3 hitless innings. 14U Tigers-Hernandez Win Super Series Tournament Championship

Dallas Tigers 14U team coached by Tommy Hernandez took home the Super Series tournament championship this past weekend at Railroad Park in Lewisville, TX.  They run ruled DBat in the championship game 11-1. Congratulations Tigers! Also, 14U Tigers coached by Lynn Vanlandingham played very well all weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma USSSA tournament, but lost this weekend in the semi-final game 3-1.

Tigers Dominate in USSSA Finals! Congratulations to the 14U Dallas Tigers for winning the championship at Railroad Park in Lewisville, Texas this weekend! Great pitching, defense and some timely hitting helped lead the Tigers 14u-Hernandez win this past weekends USSSA tournament at Railroad Park in Lewisville. The Tigers won 4 games on Sunday winning 5-0, 5-2, 4-3 and 16-0 in the championship game. Bryar Barnes came in relief to pitch out of a jam in game 3 and closed 2 of the 4 games. …
